Freienbach Switzerland, 16th Januray 2023 – Engine and power solutions specialist Briggs & Stratton® has partnered with leading Swiss supplier of drive technology, hydraulics and motor equipment Paul Forrer AG, to support its future hydraulic e-drive technology. Paul Forrer AG will integrate the full Briggs & Stratton Vanguard® battery product portfolio to deliver industry-leading customer solutions at the forefront of future hydraulic e-drive technology.
The partnership will see Paul Forrer AG partner with Briggs & Stratton to utilise the Vanguard batteries in a mix of small and large vehicles, such as hydraulic multi-gym products, as OEMs continue to look for reliable electrified machines. The batteries will also be used in larger feed mixer wagons, which are still supplied with mechanical and hydraulic energy from tractors, but can now also drive through the barn as an emission-free self-propelled vehicle that spreads the processed feed.
By implementing the complete Vanguard Commercial Battery Pack range, from the 1.5KWh battery to the 10 KWh battery, the scalable batteries will enable Paul Forrer AG to support OEMs of all sizes in achieving their electrification and business growth aims.
Since being founded in the early 1950s, Paul Forrer AG has come a long way and is now a leading Swiss supplier of drive technology, hydraulics and motor equipment, specialising in solutions for mobile applications. Working alongside Briggs & Stratton will enable them to incorporate Vanguard to develop the e-drive technology and product portfolio.
